From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

A preflight was completed on privacy data omitted on the date of the flight. Magneto checks were completed at north Texas regional (52F) and mineral wells airports with no indication of brake function degradation. Making the second landing of the day at 52F the PIC landed 100-150 feet past the arrival end of runway 17. PIC applied breaks to slow and stop with no response. PIC used the emergency break handle with no response. The PIC steered into the grass to slow the aircraft. As the aircraft reached the end of the runway the pilot attempted to turn the aircraft. The left main landing gear struck a hole in the grass causing the aircraft to stop abruptly and roll over on its top causing substantial damage. No injuries to PIC or passenger.
