From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

PIC and SIC, were performing traffic patterns, while SIC was acting as a safety pilot to get PIC current and comfortable again in his aircraft, so PIC might fly his aircraft solo for time building experience. During the first traffic pattern on the morning of 08/05/2022 PIC of privacy data omitted stated it was a normal operation during landing, until the aircraft seemed to descend lower just before the wheels should have touched the ground. PIC explained that at that point he forgot to do the gumps check, gas was set, undercarriage was skipped. Mixture was set, propeller was set, seatbelts were fassened. Stall horn was sounding, gear horn never sounded. Pilot explained he had no time to add thrust to performe a go around. Pilot knew the propeller was about to strike ,pilot decided to continue with landing. Once on ground PIC kept aircraft straight until it came to a stop on runway 35 left, fire rescue and airport authority arrived no injuries ,no fatalities.
