From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omitted Flight with 01 pilot onboard originated from Easterwood Airport (kcll), College Station, TX, with a destination of austin executive airport (kedc), austin, TX. After takeoff, pilot radioed ATC and requested return to kcll to retrieve personal gear he had forgotten. Pilot was cleared to land runway 17 kcll. Pilot landed runway 11 kcll. Upon landing, pilot reported landing gear collapse to ATC. Pilot landed and aircraft came to rest upright left of center on runway 11 kcll. No injuries reported. There is minimal scraping damage to runway surface. Damage to aircraft includes: both propeller blades damaged/bent, scraping on the lower skin surface and antennas, and beacon light separated and bent aft. Although pilot reported the landing gear collapsed, inspection of the aircraft indicates the landing gear was not extended during landing. Pilot landed on a runway he was not cleared to land on.
