From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot stated he was practicing touch and goes in this tail-wheel converted CE-172-B. After landing on runway 4, the aircraft drifted to the right. The pilot stated he applied left brake and rudder, but the aircraft continued to turn to the right. The only skid marks on the runway appear to be from the left main tire.

The aircraft departed the right side of the runway spinning to the right a little over 180 degrees from its landing direction. The left wingtip struck the ground and the left main landing gear was bent inward.
