From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Right wing tip of aircraft struck a camera pole while taxiing into the general aviation parking ramp. Upon exiting taxiway echo, a line service employee marshaled the aircraft and signaled the pilot in command (PIC) to proceed straight to the next available parking space on the north side of the general aviation parking ramp. The aircraft proceeded onto the ramp, centering between the marshaller and the north boundary of the ramp. As the aircraft came into position, perpendicular to the final parking spot, the marshaller directed a left turn to align into the directed spot. While making the left turn, the right wing tip struck a light/camera pole, causing minor damage.

As the FAA filed it
