From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Around 1:00 p.m. ground control issue clearance forprivacy data omitted to taxi from the privacy data omitted (adjacent to the field) to runway 26 via taxiways G2 and g at Camarillo Airport. While taxiing westbound on the taxiway, ground control gave a traffic advisory of a helicopter that would be landing nearby. The pilot saw a very lager helicopter at 12 o'clock position about 100 to 200 feet. The pilot stated that the helicopter would collide with him if it kept descending. The pilot briefly stopped taxing to see if the helicopter was going to change course, it did not, and the pilot resumed taxing veering to the left to avoid a collision with the landing helicopter. While veering to the left the propeller struck a taxi way sign. The propeller was the only damage to the aircraft. The helicopter was clear to land on the heli pads to the right of privacy data omitted. ATC nevered issued a direct warning of the landing helicopter to privacy data omitted

Aircraft parking and the helipad was on the right side of privacy data omitted there for the best choice was to veer left.
