What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
At approximately 1800 local time on 10/25/2022, public works employees discovered the aircraft between runway 13/31 and the parallel taxiway with one POB. Local law enforcement and volunteer fire department responded. Individual was fatally injured at the time of discovery. Rescue efforts involved moving the aircraft from the original resting spot and disassembling parts of it in order to remove the individual. The left aircraft wing contacted the dirt between runway 13/31 and the parallel taxiway, causing the left wing tip to bend. The aircraft then impacted the ground causing substantial damage to all three landing gear structures, the instrument panel, propeller and pilot seating area. There are no witnesses to accident. There was no evidence of skid marks or tire tracks on the runway, taxiway or the dirt in between the two. Examination of the aircraft maintenance logbook showed that the last condition inspection was accomplished on 01/08/2011. The aircraft does have an airworthiness certificate issued on 08/23/2010 as an experimental light sport weight-shift control, but did not have any aircraft registration on record. Examination of the pilot records revealed that no official pilot certificate could be found in FAA databases
