From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omitted, A CE-177RG, has to declare an emergency landing at mco at approximately 00:20 due to a malfunctioning landing gear. Mco ATC declared the emergency for the pilot during the approach. The aircraft was flying from mlj to ism when it encountered a hung landing gear while at flight. The pilot tried to troubleshoot the issue and tried to extend the gear electrically and manually with no success. Pilot called mco to request an emergency landing, instead of landing at ism. The pilot was able to successfully land the aircraft on rwy 36L with minor damage to the aircraft belly. There were no damage to the engine or propeller since the nose landing gear was extended and locked. The pilot and passenger were able to walk away from the aircraft with no injuries. Aircraft was released and moved to mco signature flight for further inspection and repairs.
