What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
The pilot stated that he "touched down light on the flaps" and that his application of brake pressure caused the wheels to lock up resulting in a burst tire on the left main landing gear. The aircraft then began to shimmy down the runway until the left main landing gear collapsed at approximately 30 knots. The left propeller contacted the runway surface and the aircraft departed runway, coming to rest in the grass.
