From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On December 21, 2022, the pilot of privacy data omitted was taxiing a rental Cessna 172 aircraft for take off at the Portsmouth new hampshire kpsm airport. While taxiing to the runway for departure, the pilot was following a KC46 aircraft too closely that stopped to hold short of the runway for departure. Uppon clearance for take off, the KC46 added power to start its taxi roll onto the runway. The Cessna privacy data omitted holding behind the KC46 was blasted by the engines power. This caused the Cessna's tail and right main gear to come up, forcing the nose down striking the propeller with the pavement. The left wingtip also came in contact with the ground, causing slight wingtip damage. The aircraft then settled back down normally with no further damage.
