From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

12/28/2022 - privacy data omitted departed runway at Logan County Airport (6L4) shortly after touchdown. Off runway excursion was approximately 600 feet with a slight right-hand turn into an embankment. Substantial damage was sustained during impact.

In a written statement and interview, the PIC stated he thought the r/h brake was sticking. An inspection of the aircraft brake system was performed after aircraft recovery with no descrepancies noted. The rudder was jammed full through of the r/h rudder pedal. This was inspected post aircraft recovery and determined this was a result of accident impact. Rudder control cables inspected and found to be connected to the rudder.
