From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was on an IFR ferry flight returning to pso. Aircraft became VMC at 600 feet above ground level according to the pilot. Landing was normal then aircraft began to drift left on snow covered runway. Pilot was unable to control left drift of aircraft. Left main landing gear struck snowbank on left side of runway. Aircraft departed runway to the left and entered deep snow coming to rest 20 feet off the runway. Propeller strike on snowbank caused bending. Wheel cowlings were cracked from entry into deep snow.
