From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot departed Colorado spaceport, CO (kcfo) in calm conditions to attend a charity fundraiser at centennial airport, CO (kapa). Because of crosswind conditions at kapa all three intersecting runways were in use. The pilot selected the runway he felt was best suited for a safe landing. On short final the pilot stated everything was "steady". Just prior to touchdown the winds caught the floats and ventral tail enough to upset the aircraft and push it off the runway. While the float assembly/landing gear damaged a runway light, there was no damage to the aircraft or injuries to the pilot or his passenger.

As the FAA filed it
