From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omitted Departed mccall, id (myl) at 09:53 am MST on an IFR flight plan and landed with the landing gear up at Hillsboro, OR airport (hio) on runway 31L at am 1106 PST. The pilot advised ATC that the aircraft was having an alternator/electrical issue at approximately 1030 am PST and seattle filed a mor. ATC lost radio and transponder contact with aircraft and kept them on radar as a primary target. The pilot stated that the electrical system only showed about 10 volts after about an hour. The navigation, radio and other electrical equipment was inoperative due to the low voltage.

The pilot, no longer in contact with ATC continued on to hio. At approximately 8 miles out prepared to land. And selected the landing gear lever for down. With no electrical system for indication, the pilot had no indication of the landing gear configuration. On final at hio, he was given a green light then a red light from the tower. The pilot advanced the throttles at 90 knots to go around and said the aircraft did not respond. The pilot made the decision to land anyway and made a gear up landing.

At 1106 local the aircraft landed on runway 31L at hio with the landing gear up. Both engines were operating and propellers are all “q-tipped” showing rotational damage under power. The aircraft touched down at marker A-6 and slid approximately 100 feet short of A-5. Aircraft does not have substantial damage. Damage upon looking at the aircraft is limited to the lower engine inlet cowlings, engines and propellers, and lower skins of the center section. There were no reported injuries to the pilot and 3 passengers.
