From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During approach to kasiglik, PIC experienced a right MLG unsafe light upon gear extension. Recycling of gear resulted in same right MLG unsafe light. PIC diverted to Bethel and performed an

Emergency checklist procedure for emergency gear extension. Right MLG unsafe light still remained illuminated. PIC performed a low fly-by tower and receieved report that the right MLG looked to be down fully. PIC touched down aircraft on rwy 12. Upon rollout, approx. 2-300' down the runway, the right MLG collapsed. PIC shut down engine, master switch and closed fuel immediately. Both PIC and passenger evacuated the aircraft uninjured. Aircraft was taken to maintenance hangar where troubleshooting is occurring. ---------------end-----------------
