What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Upon a landing attempt, the pilot extended the landing gear system, but the down and locked lights did not illuminate, and the 25 amp landing gear pump circuit breaker tripped. A c/b reset was unsuccesful. After contacting the tower, it was confirmed that the nose gear appeared extended but not in the locked position. The pilot had no other recourse than to land in the current condition, which resulted in a collapsed nose landing gear and bent propellors.
