From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was given hold short instructions for runway 33 at Bangor international airport (bgr). After takeoff clearance was obtained the aircraft started taxiing on to the runway and conducted a rolling takeoff. The aircraft lined up on the runway edge markings instead of the centerline. The captain who was pilot flying corrected to centerline approximately 1,400 feet down the runway. After landing at the destination and during the post flight walk around, damage was noted on the number 2 engine nose cowl. The right hand outboard side, had evidence of puncture damage located below the blow out door. This damage was determined to have been associated with striking a runway edge light at bgr at approximately 1,400 feet down the runway.
