From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative:

Aircraft was flown prior to accident for 64 minutes per data retrieved from flightaware. Com. The aircraft had been performing maneuvers to the east of kaaa for approximately 40 minutes and entered a left downwind for landing on runway 03 at kaaa. The aircraft made 2 full stop landings and upon takeoff after the second landing, the aircraft entered a left downwind for runway 03. Somewhere between downwind, base, and final, the aircraft lost all power and attempted an off-field landing in a parking lot. The aircraft left wing impacted a tree shearing off the left wing. Observation of the post impact propeller showed minimal damage indicating that the propeller was not turning. The fuselage continued forward approximately 30 feet and came to rest on a raised concrete block flower bed approximately 2 feet high and 20 feet wide. - end -
