From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was practicing touch and go landings at Skiatook Municipal Airport (2F6), Oklahoma before stopping to get fuel on a leg of a trip from Alabama to Texas after recently purchasing the aircraft. On the fourth touch and go landing the pilot stated the winds were light and variable with slight gusts. On the rollout after the landing, the pilot stated a gust of wind pushed the aircraft to the right which caused the aircraft to veer off the runway and hit a runway light with the right main landing gear. The aircraft incurred substantial damage to the main landing gear, right wing, and main airframe structure after collapse of the landing gear. The pilot was not injured and was able to exit the aircraft without assistance after the aircraft came to rest. Details of this accident are documented in sas activity SW15202302529. Additionally telephone counseling session was conducted with the pilot by an office operations inspector and documented in sas activity SW15202302778.
