From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was on approach in gusting winds and reported wind shear. At 10-20 feet above ground, wind shear was experienced, pilot applied full power attempting to fly out of condition but the aircraft was forced to the runway. Aircraft veered left and departed runway, striking a runway edge light while departing with the left main landing gear fairing. Aircraft traveled through Grass median between runway and taxiway, pilot attempted to gain control during this time but was unsuccessful. Aircraft eventually re-entered the taxiway, where the pilot was able to gain control and stop the aircraft.
