From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

Pilot made emergency landing in a field, without injuries to persons on board and no damage to the aircraft. Pilot contacted maintenance and sump fuel and checked fuel vents. Pilot was able to start engine and performed run-up, all systems operated normal. Aircraft was disassembled and removed from property by trailer. Maintenance inspected and ran engine. Engine operated normal. Maintenance suspects fuel contamination/water slug as cause of power loss.
