From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

PIC observed the current weather conditions and found them to be within student pilot solo limitation. Pilot went out flying around 9:30AM to do some pattern work. This morning the weather was showing, “variable.” pilot listened to the weather again in the plane it was updated to, “calm.” upon landing, the touchdown was smooth, but when the front nose gear touched the runway pilot noticed the aircraft pulling to the left. Pilot tried to correct but it was too late. The plane slid off the runway and the nose gear buckled.
