From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon returning from mount pocono airport (kmpo), the private pilot of privacy data omitted, a CE-T210L, announced on the UNICOM frequency at Delaware Airpark (33N) that he was inbound and would enter a downwind for runway 09. He stated he heard another aircraft announce that they were using runway 27; however, the pilot of the other aircraft indicated he would also enter a downwind for runway 09 behind privacy data omitted. The pilot of privacy data omitted continued his approach and stated he was distracted because he was looking for the other traffic on his GPS. As the aircraft began its touchdown with the landing gear up, the propeller blades struck the runway, the aircraft slid for approximately 200 feet, veered to the right and rested approximately 20 feet off the runway. There was minor damage to the aircraft.

Written statement provided by the airman indicated that he did not hear the landing gear warning horn activate and heard a "popping sound"; however, post-incident functional checks indicated no defects found with the landing gear warning horn or system.

Note: this incident remains under investigation. This report will be amended when further information becomes available.

As the FAA filed it

UPON RETURNING FROM MOUNT POCONO AIRPORT (KMPO), THE PRIVATE PILOT OF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, A CE-T210L, ANNOUNCED ON THE UNICOM FREQUENCY AT DELAWARE AIRPARK (33N) THAT HE WAS INBOUND AND WOULD ENTER A DOWNWIND FOR RUNWAY 09. HE STATED HE HEARD ANOTHER AIRCRAFT ANNOUNCE THAT THEY WERE USING RUNWAY 27; HOWEVER, THE PILOT OF THE OTHER AIRCRAFT INDICATED HE WOULD ALSO ENTER A DOWNWIND FOR RUNWAY 09 BEHIND ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. THE PILOT OF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ CONTINUED HIS APPROACH AND STATED HE WAS DISTRACTED BECAUSE HE WAS LOOKING FOR THE OTHER TRAFFIC ON HIS GPS.
