From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Evidence found during the investigation indicates the aircraft stalled while in a steep climb. The aircraft impacted a field unobserved that was located about 1/4 mile northwest of the field being sprayed with wings level in a high rate of decent with a nearly flat attitude. The impact heading was northwesterly and the airplane came to rest inverted on a southeasterly heading about 45 ft from the initial impact. The aircraft was destroyed and the pilot fatally injuried. No preimpact anomalies were found with the flight control system or powerplant.
