From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot is a student pilot and was perfroming solo flight. Pilot was landing and was moving too fast and landed early. Aircraft landed nose first and started to porpoise and bounce. The pilot tried to abort landing and advanced the throttle, which made the porpoise/bounce worse. Pilot decided to continue with the landing and pulled back the throttle. When the aircraft nose came back down the aircraft was pointed towards the left-hand side of runway. Pilot applied brakes but did not have enough room to stop before leaving the runway.

There was no damage to aircraft or property.

Pilot has obtained additional instruction and traffic pattern practice, which I have conformed with CFI.
