From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While practicing takeoffs and landings, the pilot was making his 5th approach for landing. Pilot stated his approach was closer to the runway than previous approaches, he came in high and at the flare, the propeller started hitting the ground. The airplane veered off to the left, exited the runway and came to a stop in the grass between the runway and taxiway. Aircraft came to a rest with right gear down and locked. The nose gear and left gear were not extended. Minor damage was observed to the left wing skin, propeller, skin on belly of emmpenage, and the transponder and DME antennas separated from the lower emmpennage.

Post-incident functional checks indicated no defects found with the landing gear system.
