From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The part 91 flight departed T67 for a local flight. Just after rotation, the engine lost power and airspeed decreased. The pilot attempetd to return to the airport but landed in a field 200 feet west of the centerline of runway 14 / 32.

Upon investigation, the top cowling was removed to reviel the left induction duct between the left intercooler and throttle body had seperated at the couplers. Closer examination showed the connecting hose clamps were left unsecured during the recently completed maintenance. This was the first flight since that maintenance.
