From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 08/23/2023 at 1419 CDT, a Cessna 182T, s/n 18281555, was landing on runway 17R at David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport (dwh). The pilot lost directional control of the aircraft when the nose began to shimmy immediately after nose wheel touchdown. The aircraft veered to the left and departed the runway approximately 5 yards south of taxiway delta. The nose wheel forks broke off when the aircraft departed the runway. The propeller sustained damage to all three blades. The right wing contacted the grass and dirt. The outboard 2-3 feet of the right wing showed extensive damage to the lower skin, leading edge and wing tip, with damage extending back past the spar. The upper and lower surfaces of the right wing showed significant buckling. The right fuselage aft of the cabin window showed signs of buckling. Inspection of the nose wheel shimmy dampener revealed no damage and operating normally. The nose wheel steering and associated components were inspected and found to be operating normally. The nose wheel centering was inspected and found to operating normally.
