From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On August 29, 2023, at approximately 13:15 eastern standard time, privacy data omitted, a 1998 Beechcraft king air 350, sustained minor damage to the right outboard leading edge of the wing, while taxing on the privacy data omitted FBO ramp at the Dekalb-Peachtree Airport (kpdk) in Atlanta, Georgia. As the aircraft was being marshalled to a parking spot by ground personnel, the right wing of privacy data omitted struck the nose radome of a parked 2010 Gulfstream G450, privacy data omitted causing minor damage.

On April 29, 2023, at approximately 14:30 eastern standard time, an FAA inspector from the Atlanta FSDO conducted an interview with the PIC of privacy data omitted. The pilot stated that he had just landed and was taxing to a parking spot near the privacy data omitted FBO. On this particular day the ramp at privacy data omitted was unusually crowded and busy with other parked aircraft. This was most likely due to hurricane idalia that was approaching the Florida gulf coast and forced most aircraft in the Florida area to evacuate to safer airports. As the aircraft approached the parking ramp, a marshaller from privacy data omitted was directing them where to park. According to the PIC, the marshaller motioned the aircraft to park in an area that seemed extremely tight and surrounded by other aircraft. However, the PIC proceeded as directed. As the aircraft made its final turn into the parking spot, the PIC stated that he looked for a wing walker to help guide him and clear his right wing from the parked Gulfstream G450. However, the marshaller was on his left wing, so the PIC called out to his SIC to ensure the wing tip was clear of all obstacles. At the same time the marshaller was motioning for the PIC to continue forward as the SIC stated that the right wing was clear. Two seconds later the right wing struck the nose radome of the Gulfstream G450, leaving a crease that resulted in minor damage. privacy data omitted Sustained minor damage to the right leading outboard edge of the wing and a cut in the deicing boot. No other visible damage noted...

As the FAA filed it

ON AUGUST 29, 2023, AT APPROXIMATELY 13:15 EASTERN STANDARD TIME, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, A 1998 BEECHCRAFT KING AIR 350, SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT OUTBOARD LEADING EDGE OF THE WING, WHILE TAXING ON THE ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ FBO RAMP AT THE DEKALB-PEACHTREE AIRPORT (KPDK) IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA. AS THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING MARSHALLED TO A PARKING SPOT BY GROUND PERSONNEL, THE RIGHT WING OF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STRUCK THE NOSE RADOME OF A PARKED 2010 GULFSTREAM G450, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE.

ON APRIL 29, 2023, AT APPROXIMATELY 14:30 EASTERN STANDARD TIME, AN FAA INSPECTOR FROM THE ATLANTA FSDO CONDUCTED AN INTERVIEW WITH THE PIC OF ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD JUST LANDED AND WAS TAXING TO A PARKING SPOT NEAR THE ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ FBO. ON THIS PARTICULAR DAY THE RAMP AT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS UNUSUALLY CROWDED AND BUSY WITH OTHER PARKED AIRCRAFT. THIS WAS MOST LIKELY DUE TO HURRICANE IDALIA THAT WAS APPROACHING THE FLORIDA GULF COAST AND FORCED MOST AIRCRAFT IN THE FLORIDA AREA TO EVACUATE TO SAFER AIRPORTS. AS THE AIRCRAFT APPROACHED THE PARKING RAMP, A MARSHALLER FROM ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS DIRECTING THEM WHERE TO PARK. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT LEADING OUTBOARD EDGE OF THE WING AND A CUT IN THE DEICING BOOT. NO OTHER VISIBLE DAMAGE NOTED...
