From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Gathered photos, video and audio from airport management at bct airport, as well as tower controller. Additional photos were submitted by chief flight instructor. Upon review of audio, and video, on the face of the evidence, (video, audio) it appears that the incident occurred in tight quarters ( taxiway, runup area & the turn for runway in use). Discussed preventive plan with flight school. Chief CFI. Inspector will present a jet blast avoidance airmanship talk to cfi's on 10-01-2023 and discuss the rca. Rca is a blend of small aircraft approaching rear quarter of heavy jet closely and turning in a position to be impacted broadside by jet blast upon jet's departure clearance. Taxiway/runup area close quarters and due caution must be maintained. Judgment for safe passage to runup area is a contributing factor. Attempted to reach operator of global jet to discuss possible preventive measure with aircraft pilots based in Boca Raton with high volume of flight training in light aircraft. The operator of the large aircraft has not returned the call. All video, audio photos and incident report have been stored on the FSDO19 "o" drive for reference. NASA form was filed by CFI operating Cessna 172. Aircraft was inspected by maintenance team and deemed an incident with no firewall damage, no injuries.

As the FAA filed it
