From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omitted Had departed from ardmore downtown exec airport (1F0), ardmore, Oklahoma flying to Mckinney national airport (tki), Mckinney, Texas. The pilot in command (PIC) did not report anything out of the ordinary with the approach other than the airplane was noticeably slower across the ground due to a headwind. He stated that the airplane touched down on the main landing gear.

The PIC stated that within 3 seconds the nose gear touched down but kept dropping until the propeller struck the runway. He stated that he could feel the plane's left main begin to retract. The left wing started to drop and the plane slid to the left.

The PIC stated that he informed tki control tower personnel that his airplane's nose gear collapsed and he would require assistance.
