From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 10/12/2023 at 12:25 the aircraft was in left closed traffic and reported a rough running engine. As per pilots statement he adjusted the flight path and fuel mixture with no effect noted on the engines performance. The aircraft landed on runway 18 and continued rollout to reduce speed and had passed the intersection of taxiway g when the brakes were applied. The aircraft departed the runway to the right and crossed the grass to the parallel taxiway and came to a stop. The pilot requested a tow to the ramp. The pilot stated that when he applied the brakes the left brake did nothing, and the right brake engaged and turned the aircraft to the right into the grass. Post inspection of the aircraft found that there was a propeller strike with one of the propeller tip corners bent over. The left side flexible brake line at the caliper was wet and brake fluid was on the inboard side of the tire. After speaking with the mechanic, the aircraft still contained fuel with no water contamination noted.

As the FAA filed it
