From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

PIC statement:

"During closed traffic work at kfin, our left tire tube failed resulting in the tire separating from its rim during a touch and go. This caused us to loose directional control which resulted in the a/c departing the paved surface of RWY6 to the left despite the application of full right rudder and brake. There was no damage to the aircraft nor injury to any persons onboard."

PIC was advised to submit a malfunction or defect report via

privacy data omitted To report the suspected main wheel tire tube.
