From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

SIC departed hya to bed at 1000 EST 12/26/23. Conditions at bed were close to minimums due to heavy fog in the area. No issues noted during first phase of the flight. On the approach to bed, dense fog was incountered. Just prior to minimums being reached, the runway was sighted with 1/4 mile visibility and 200 feet vertical visibility. Aircraft was left of the centerline of the runway. PIC called for controls; handoff went smoothly. SIC twice called for a go around, PIC declined and proceeded to land the aircraft. Immediatly after landing, 3 runway edge lights were struck causing damage to the left inboard flap and the belly of the aircraft. The aircraft taxied to the local FBO under its own power.
