From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On February 5, 2024, about 1114 local time, PIC stated that she was cleared to land 1L on Bethel airport, AK, where she planned to land long and touch down at taxiway golf. The PIC attempted to touchdown as she realized that she passed taxiway golf. Upon touchdown and transition to landing rollout at taxiway bravo, PIC stated that she encountered severe wind shear that pushed the aircraft sideways and down the runway. During rollout with flaps up, fuel condition in idle, the PIC immediately applied brakes. The PIC pulled the yoke back and tried reverse, but the PIC stated that the wind shear was too strong. PIC then stated that the plane was still being pushed down the runway as the aircraft slid pass the end of the runway to the runoff area. Once completely stopped, PIC conducted normal shutdown, checked on passengers, which were all ok. PIC noted that she did not hear or see any damage to aircraft.
