From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Student pilot on a solo flight cleared to land runway 16 at dab. PIC configured aircraft for landing with light crab to hold centerline. Rounded out before touchdown and flared. The cross wind pushed the aircraft to the right of the runway as the wheels touched down. PIC added left rudder input and applied excessive braking causing both main tires to lock. Aircraft skid into the grass right of runway 16 past the thousand foot marker. One POB (student pilot), not injuried. Aircraft did not contact any object and was not damaged.
