From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot requested the RNAV rwy 6 approach at 6L4 and did not recognize that there was a strong tailwind. He arrived at the initial fix 1200 feet above the glideslope, as directed by ATC. These factors caused the aircraft to be high and fast during the approach. Pilot touched down on runway 6 with at least 2/3RDS of the runway behind him and skidded while braking on the wet runway. Claimed he initiated a go-around late. The pilot claimed he retracted the flaps before leaving the ground contrary to the SR-20 POH. The aircarft then flew downhill approximately 150 feet before impacting the trees off the end of the runway.
