On March 27, 2024, at approximately 1500, a velocity 173RG elite aircraft, had its right-hand passenger door depart the aircraft during takeoff roll at the Roswell Air Center (row) in Roswell NM. The aircraft was being operated on a personal flight. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time, and a VFR flight plan was filed. The aircraft sustained minor damage, and the pilot sustained no injuries. The flight originated from row on March 27, 2024, at approximately 1500.
