From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During the first flight after an annual inspection was completed on feb 15/24. The pilot took off from ktoa airport to point fermin to pratice basic maneuverers. During, this time the pilot lowered the landing gear noticed the left landing gear was not lowering. He attempted several cycles and was not able to the lower the landing gear. He then went through the emergency procedures from the flight manual to lower the gear to no avail. The pilot contacted the tower to do a fly by and to see if they could confirm to him that the left landing gear was in fact not down. The tower did confirm to him that the aircraft left landing gear was not down. The pilot made the decision to notify the tower and let them know that he was going to land the aircraft with all landing gear retracted on 29R. Landed with only minor damage to the aircraft and no injuries to himself.
