From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Shortly after departure the right engine generator fail light came on. Soon after the aircraft lost all electrical power. The landing gear was cranked down by hand. The tower was contacted by cell phone by the pilot and declared an emergency. The aircraft was cleared to land. Upon rollout after landing the right landing gear collapsed. Soon after the left and nose gear also collapsed. The aircraft skidded off of the runway impacting a sign and came to rest. Unable to determine the cause of the electrical failure. Upon notification of additional information this report will be updated.
