From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

There were 4 aircraft in a diamond formation, performing a non-aerobatic maneuver called the “banana pass” at the fort Lauderdale 2024 airshow. They were operating within the waiver period and within the airbox, when 3 of the 4 aircraft suddenly contacted each other. Lead aircraft (N136EM) was damaged on the left side elevator trim tab, aircraft 3 (N137EM) sustained damage on the right wingtip tank where the front half is bent downward approximately 60º and right-side pitot tube was broken off. Aircraft 4 (N138EM) received superficial paint scraping and a broken anti-collision light on the left wing. No injuries were sustained by anyone. The aircraft, flight of four, declared the emergency and landed safely at the Ft. Lauderdale executive airport.
