From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot took of from grove field (1W1) in camas Washington and flew the aircraft direct to Scappoose Airport (spb) where he appeared to be practicing takeoffs and landings. It was reported that the pilot took a short break at the FBO then on takeoff from runway 15 it appears that the aircraft climbed to an altitude of approximately eighty feet and entered a stall/spin, vertically impacting the grass between runway 15 and the east taxiway. The aircraft came to rest on the east taxiway in an upright position.
