From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Flying north at 9000 feet, felt vibration in engine. Immediately turned south. Noticed oil pressure below normal and engine running rough. After some time, the engine seized. Pilot attempted to land in a meadow. Upon roll out, the aircraft hit a ditch which removed the landing gear and flipped over on it's back.

Engine seized while in flight for unknown reason. Office management denied on scene investigation of this accident so limited information was gathered. NTSB will schedule an engine inspection once the aircraft location is determined.
