From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 07/21/2024 at 1755 EDT, privacy data omittedwas performing a demo full speed pass at approximately 600' AGL on runway 01 at 7D9 (Germack Airport) in Geneva, OH. Accident aircraft began an aggressive climb at the departure end of runway 01. During this climb the accident aircraft experience a catastrophic propeller failure in which the propeller departed the aircraft. Accident pilot executed a lefthand turn to a heading of 190 to line up with a road approxiately .25 miles from the airport to perform an emergency landing. While rolling wings level there was a truck on the road heading directly at the accident aircraft. The truck swerved to the left to avoid the accident aircraft and the accident aircraft swerved left to avoid the oncoming truck. When the accident aircraft swerved left, the left wing struck a tree which tore the left wing from the fuselage and spun the accident aircraft inverted. While inverted the accident aircraft's righthand wing struck a tree which tore the right wing from the fuselage. The fuselage then impacted the ground inverted and slid to a stop.
