From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft started experiencing radio failure while enroute to destination. ATC established communication on guard with the aircraft and stated that the pilot decided to continue to his destination, and the flight following was cancelled.

The pilot later reported over guard that he was experiencing a total electric power loss and agreed to divert to M15 airport. ATC declared an emergency and dispatched fire and police assistance to the airport. The pilot stated that he aborted his first landing attempt after realizing the flaps and landing gear would not work without electrical power. The passenger onboard attempted to lower the landing gear manually but was unsuccessful. The pilot then decided to land the aircraft with no flaps and landing gear down.
