From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was traveling from KOA7 to kcre at 9,500 at night (23:31 time of inciddent). Aircraft experienced alternator issue from a shredded alternator belt. As the pilot was turning final, they realized they were too high so they reduced power, pulled the hydraulic pump circuit breaker, pushed the gear handle down, uncaged the emergency gear knob. The pilot did not pull the knob because they were to fast and needed to be below 110 knots. The aircraft continued to slow down approaching the runway, the pilot inadvertantly forgot to lower the knob once the aircraft was slowed down and landed without the gear expended.
