From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 08/05/2024 at approximately 1000 hours local time the accident aircraft departed Chautauqua county dunkirk airport (dkk) en route to fort lauderdale executive airport(fxe). The aircraft subsequently caught fire and slid down the runway beyond RUNWAY13/31 intersection and exited the left side approx. 2150 ft from the initial impact. The aircraft came to rest approx. 225 ft from the runway left edge. Both occupants were able to exit the aircraft.
