From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Cp 11 is a CPJ-200, a company owned and operated UAS under a part 91 coa 2023-WSA-13520 rev 1-COA at the Pendleton UAS test range. Cp 11 was operating in an area within 6.8NM north of kpdt in a block altitude of 020 to 035. At 2017Z, the aircraft operator reported via telephone that the UAS landed in a dirt field approximately 1.5NM north of kpdt. At 2130Z, the Pendleton UAS range operations manager reported via telephone that cp 11 had actually experienced an engine failure and crashed, sustaining substantial damage. There were no injuries or other known damage to property.

The operator determined that epoxy from a fuel cell repair clogged a fuel line which resulted in fuel starvation to the engine.
