From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft departed I69 (clermont county airport) for the first flight of the day enroute to ksfz (North Central State Airport) for the final destination. Aircraft entered the traffic pattern and made visual approach for rwy 33. Upon landing the aircraft belly structure contacted the runway surface due to landing gear not being extended. The propeller struck the runway surface and the aircraft settled at the intersection of runways 33 & 5. The pilot exited the aircraft and notified the airfield authorities. The pilot stated that after landing and the aircraft coming to rest, he made an assessment of the cockpit controls and discovered that the landing gear circuit breaker was popped. The aircraft was hosted up onto jacks and the gear handled was cycled back to the down position and the landing gear extended and locked. The aircraft was towed to ramp area. A review of the aircraft maintenance logbooks does not indicate any landing gear system malfunctions within the past 12 months.
