From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was approaching Dallas Love Field (dal) during IMC conditions. The aircraft was decending when it exited the clouds and the pilot immediately saw a flock of birds directly in front of the aircraft. The flock of birds were too close for the pilot to make any course adjustments and contniued the approach. The aircraft landed without further incident. During the post flight inspection, the pilot discovered the #2 engine had ingested a bird as evidenced by feather and blood surrounding the fan blade housing. Three of the fan blades on the #2 engine were bent.
